Rev. Dr. Jacob Thomas

Rev. Dr. Jacob Thomas was born and brought up in Singapore. At the age of 10 he moved to Kerala, India and completed his secular education with the Masters in Economics. Drawn by the call of God, he trained himself to be a theological educator. He studied theology in Serampore, Harvard and Oxford Universities and earned advanced degrees. He is ordained for pastoral services in the Madhya Kerala Diocese of the CSI (1982). Rev. Jacob Thomas held the position of Professor in Christian Social Ethics and the Dean at the Union Biblical Seminary, India. He is currently a professor in Missions at the Belfast Bible College, Belfast, Ireland.
He longs to love and serve the Lord who has made all differences in his life. He is convinced that nothing more significant can happen to anyone apart from being impacted by the glory of God. His passion of life is the challenge of mentoring young lives and encouraging God's people. He travels widely as an 'ecumenical evangelist' sharing in non-episcopal and secular contexts.
